Senior Full Stack Engineer

**About nOps** nOps is the leading automated FinOps platform for cloud cost optimization, managing over $5B in annual cloud spend for companies from fast growing startups to global enterprises across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. The team is looking for a senior full stack engineer to take ownership of infrastructure, APIs, and platform development end to end. **The Role** - Owns full project delivery from architecture through production, across backend infrastructure, APIs, lakehouse connections, and front end work. - Builds the customer ingestion and authentication flows that power the nOps platform. - Works hands on across the stack, with a strong backend and infrastructure focus. - Mentors junior developers and helps shape engineering best practices as the team scales. **Responsibilities** Infrastructure and Architecture: - Designs, builds, and maintains systems on AWS using infrastructure as code. - Owns systems architecture decisions and ensures scalability, security, and reliability across the platform. - Modernizes fragmented and legacy processes so the team can move faster. Platform Development: - Builds and ships new features end to end, from backend services and APIs to front end interfaces. - Develops customer integrations and data ingestion flows that connect into Databricks and our lakehouse. - Collaborates with product managers to scope, estimate, and deliver projects on tight timelines. Engineering Excellence: - Writes clean, well tested, maintainable code in Python, JavaScript, and SQL. - Reviews code, provides feedback, and supports junior engineers as they grow. - Uses AI coding tools like Cursor and Claude Code as a core part of the development workflow. **Requirements** - 4 plus years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with a senior title at a larger company. - Deep AWS infrastructure experience is a must, including strong fluency in systems architecture and infrastructure as code. - Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL. - Experience taking projects from blank page to production with minimal hand holding. - Demonstrated comfort working across the stack, with a particular strength on the backend. - Active use of AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code in your day to day workflow. - Self directed operator who thrives in a fast moving, build it yourself environment. **Nice to Have** - Experience with Databricks, Vercel, or WorkOS. - Exposure to GCP or Azure in addition to AWS. - Background in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, observability, or a related infrastructure or DevOps category. - Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small project teams. - Familiarity with Postgres or other relational databases. **Why nOps** - Senior level seat with real ownership over infrastructure and platform decisions from day one. - Direct line to engineering leadership and executive backing to scale the platform as the company grows. - Real impact on a fast growing FinOps platform powering enterprise cloud cost optimization across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
