This is a **fully hands-on individual contributor role** for a senior engineer with strong backend expertise in **.NET** and solid, demonstrated experience building modern frontend applications. While backend engineering will be the primary focus, you should be comfortable working independently across the stack, including **React/frontend development**, whenever required. **Location:** Hyderabad **Work Mode:** Hybrid ## What you'll do * Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using **.NET** * Develop and maintain modern frontend applications using **React** * Work across the full stack, taking ownership of features from backend services through frontend implementation * Design and implement APIs, services, integrations, and other backend components * Build responsive and maintainable frontend experiences using modern frontend technologies * Work on **authentication, authorization, and SSO integrations** where required * Make sound technical decisions around architecture, implementation, performance, and scalability * Break down complex technical problems and drive solutions through implementation and delivery * Collaborate closely with engineering teams in the **US, Mexico, and India** * Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best-practice initiatives * Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and engineering issues * Take ownership of features and deliver high-quality software with minimal supervision ## What we're looking for * **6+ years of professional software engineering experience** * Strong, hands-on experience with **.NET / C# and backend engineering** * Demonstrated hands-on experience with **React** and modern frontend development * Ability to independently contribute to both **backend and frontend development** * Strong understanding of **software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and scalable backend applications** * Experience building and integrating **authentication and authorization systems** * Experience with **SSO integrations** such as SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect is highly preferred * Experience working with databases, third-party integrations, and production-grade applications * Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering * Experience working with distributed engineering teams is preferred * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Experience with cloud platforms is preferred ## Good to have * Experience with **payment systems or payment-related products** * Experience working with **AI/ML-powered products or integrations** * Experience with additional modern frontend technologies * Experience designing and implementing security and identity solutions * Experience working in a product-focused engineering environment ## Who you are * You're a **hands-on engineer** who enjoys building and solving complex technical problems * You have deep backend expertise but are equally comfortable getting into the frontend when needed * You take ownership of features and drive them through to completion * You're comfortable working independently and making sound technical decisions * You're curious, resourceful, and continuously looking to improve your technical skills * You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with teams across different locations * You care about writing clean, maintainable, and reliable software
