The rest of the Evam team comprises alumni of IITs, IIMs, CMU, IISc, NUS with rich experience across multiple industries **Role Overview - Senior Full Stack Engineer** We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role, positioned at the intersection of AI innovation, engineering excellence, and customer impact. You won't just build systems; you'll transform complex business challenges into simple, elegant, and scalable AI solutions. You will be instrumental in transforming nascent ideas into production-ready artifacts, leading the development cycle from initial concept to live deployment. These are full-time onsite roles at our office located in Bengaluru. **Responsibilities** ● Contribute to the development of our product by actively participating in brainstorming, coding, testing, and debugging activities aligned with company goals ● Own the end-to-end development of our web applications — from inception to production deployment ● Build and maintain high-quality frontend applications using Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS to deliver fast, intuitive, and scalable user experiences ● Design, develop, and optimize backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI, enabling robust product functionality, AI integrations, and efficient data workflows ● Develop and integrate AI-powered features, third-party APIs, asynchronous workflows, and data-driven product capabilities ● Implement robust testing practices using tools such as Pytest, Playwright, Jest, and Cypress to ensure code quality and reliability ● Set up and manage observability stacks using logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting tools such as Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and PostHog. ● Own deployment and infrastructure workflows using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Vercel, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. ● Work with databases and caching systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and vector databases for scalable application performance ● Collaborate closely with product, design, and AI teams to ship features quickly in a fast-paced startup environment ● Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability. ● Contribute to building a world-class engineering culture and team ● As per candidate inclination, the candidate can also contribute to the AI system build itself - including building LLM workflows, Agents or data pipelines for AI applications **What we look for in Candidates** ● 2+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Machine Learning Engineering ● Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience specifically designing, developing, and deploying solutions utilizing Generative AI models (GenAI) ● Expert proficiency in Python for AI/ML development, coupled with strong engineering skills in either Java or JavaScript/TypeScript for production backend services ● Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and database systems (SQL/NoSQL) ● Demonstrated history of being a highly effective team player with excellent cross-functional communication skills **Why Join Us?** ● Opportunity to work on data science problems at billion-dollar Retail and CPG companies leveraging massive first-party datasets. ● Be in an early stage company - grow with the company and shape our trajectory, in turn creating inorganic growth opportunities for yourself. ● Be in the right field at the right time - opportunity to grow and advance your career in the burgeoning field of AI. ● Be part of a fast-paced, ambitious research organization that is pushing the boundaries of AI across industries. ● Competitive salary and benefits.
