The rest of the Evam team comprises alumni of IITs, IIMs, CMU, IISc, NUS with rich experience across multiple industries. **Role Overview - AI Engineer** The **AI Engineer** is a hands-on role, positioned at the intersection of AI innovation, engineering excellence, and customer impact. You won't just build systems; you'll transform complex business challenges into simple, elegant, and scalable AI solutions. You will be instrumental in transforming nascent ideas into production-ready artifacts, leading the development cycle from initial concept to live deployment. These are full-time onsite roles at our office located in Bengaluru. **Responsibilities** ● Work to design secure, scalable, and resilient AI systems, ensuring solutions are robust and future-proof ● Build and improve backend services (APIs, data pipelines, and deployment setup) for AI applications ● Learn from seniors and gradually help junior teammates or interns **What we look for in Candidates** ● 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, or Machine Learning Engineering. ● Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience specifically designing, developing, and deploying solutions utilizing Generative AI models (GenAI). ● Expert proficiency in Python for AI/ML development, ● Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), ● Demonstrated history of being a highly effective team player with excellent coding skills ● Any working experience with image processing or computer vision (e.g., OpenCV, PIL, CNNs, diffusion models, etc.) is a strong plus **Why Join Us?** ● Competitive salary and benefits ● Be in an early stage company - grow with the company and shape our trajectory, in turn creating inorganic growth opportunities for yourself ● Be in the right field at the right time - opportunity to grow and advance your career in the burgeoning field of AI ● Be part of a fast-paced, ambitious research organization that is pushing the boundaries of AI across industries
