Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Consumer Products

**About T4R Labs** T4R Labs is a deep tech lab building at the frontier of AI. We work on hard, unsolved problems where real-time performance, multi-modal understanding, and safety all have to hold up under production load — not just in a demo. **The Role** We're looking for a senior full-stack engineer to help turn our realtime, multi-modal AI systems into consumer-grade products people love using. You'll work across the stack — from Django/PostgreSQL services and event-driven architecture on the backend to polished React interfaces on the front — and take features from rough idea to shipped product. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role on a small team, where your code, your product judgment, and your opinions all matter. **What You'll Do** * Design and build consumer-facing features end-to-end, from database schema to UI * Build and maintain event-driven / event-sourced backend systems in Django * Ship consumer-grade software — sweat the details that make a product feel finished, not just functional * Use Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools as part of your daily workflow to move fast without cutting corners * Partner closely with the founding team and design to turn rough ideas into shipped features * Own features from prototype through production, including monitoring and iteration after launch **What We're Looking For** * 5–10 years of experience as a full-stack engineer, with real consumer-grade software shipped to real users * Strong proficiency in Python and React * Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, and event-driven or event-sourced architectures * Hands-on, daily experience using Claude Code (or similar AI coding tools) * Curious, entrepreneurial, and comfortable speaking your mind — we want people who'll push back on a bad idea, ours included * A self-starter who takes real ownership and accountability, but also works well as part of a small, close-knit team **Bonus points for:** * Experience with multi-modal AI * Experience building products on top of or alongside AI/ML systems * Experience at an early-stage startup, where the roadmap changes as fast as the product **Why T4R Labs** * Work directly with the founding team on problems that don't have off-the-shelf solutions * High autonomy, high impact — your decisions ship * We're seed stage: this role is equity only for now, with salary starting once we close funding **Work Authorization & Background Check** You must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
