Performance Marketing Specialist

**TL;DR** A fast-growing US DTC pet supplement brand is hiring its first performance marketing specialist to own paid social from creative strategy through to conversion. You'll work directly with the founder to build the performance engine from scratch. * Role type: fully remote, full-time * Working hours: 3 pm to 12 am **About the opportunity** Our client is a scaling US DTC pet supplement brand where the founder has been running performance marketing himself. Growth has outpaced what one person can manage, so they need someone to take full ownership, not just assist. This is the first performance marketing hire. There's no team, no inherited playbook, and no agency driving strategy. You'll work directly with the founder and coordinate external partners like the ad agency, CRO agency, and freelancers, with clear visibility from day one. **What you'll do** * Own Meta Ads end-to-end: strategy, creative testing, optimisation, and performance decisions across the account * Build and manage the creative pipeline from brief to review to iteration, since creative thinking is core to this role, not just media buying * Own the full funnel from ad to landing page to conversion, including CRO oversight and a testing roadmap with external partners * Diagnose performance drops across the funnel and pinpoint whether the issue is creative, targeting, or conversion * Navigate supplement ad claim restrictions on Meta alongside the founder, who stays closely involved early on * Support Google Ads as a secondary channel alongside Meta **Who we're looking for** * 3 to 5 years in performance marketing for DTC brands, ideally supplements, pet, or health and wellness, with hands-on experience targeting US consumers * Owned Meta and Google ads end-to-end, from creative direction to performance, and know what actually drives results * Think in funnels, not channels, and are comfortable owning the journey from ad to landing page to conversion, including guiding CRO * Worked in scrappy, early-stage environments where you've had to build processes and structure from scratch * Coordinated with agencies, freelancers, or external partners without relying on a big internal team **Bonus points if you have** * Experience with CTV channels like Tatari or Axon * Experience with health/supplement products via DTC * Familiarity with AI tools for creative or campaign work * A dog or a cat (genuinely, it helps)
