Lead AI Engineer

**About the role** You'll join a growing engineering team as a senior technical member, focused on enabling AI across internal processes, engineering and delivery workflows, and customer-facing products. You'll lead AI initiatives end to end, make technical decisions, and work closely with engineering and business teams to build practical, reliable AI solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and turning AI opportunities into production-ready solutions. **Location:** Hyderabad **Work Mode:** Hybrid **What you'll do** * Lead AI initiatives across **internal process automation, engineering and delivery, and customer-facing workflows** * Identify opportunities to use AI to automate processes and improve engineering and operational efficiency * Design and build AI-powered applications and workflows using **Python** * Own AI initiatives from problem definition and experimentation through implementation and delivery * Make technical decisions around architecture, implementation, and engineering best practices * Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to translate problems into practical AI solutions * Evaluate new AI technologies and identify opportunities to apply them effectively * Ensure AI solutions are reliable, scalable, maintainable, and production-ready * Mentor and guide engineers working on AI initiatives **What we're looking for** * **8+ years of software engineering experience** * Strong, hands-on expertise in Python * Experience building and deploying AI-powered applications, automation, or intelligent workflows * Strong understanding of applying AI across **internal processes, engineering workflows, and customer-facing products** * Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering best practices, and production environments * Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of projects end to end * **Excellent written and verbal communication skills** **Who you are** * You take **ownership** and drive work through to completion * You're **hands-on** and enjoy building practical AI solutions * You're technically curious and comfortable working with new AI technologies * You're a strong problem solver who enjoys tackling complex and ambiguous challenges * You communicate clearly and work well with different teams * You lead by example and enjoy helping teams build and adopt new technologies
