Software Engineer I (Contract)

Our Platform Services Engineering team builds and maintains cloud-based applications, RESTful APIs, and shared services that power Experian Software Solutions' products. As a Software Engineer I you will contribute to the development and support of scalable backend services and user-facing applications. Working closely with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams, you will help build secure, reliable, and high-quality software solutions while growing your technical expertise across modern cloud technologies and software development practices. . What You'll Be Doing Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks. Collaborate with UX designers to implement intuitive and accessible designs. Work with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, BitBucket, and Confluence This role will be reporting to the Software Engineering Manager This is a hybrid position, requiring attendance in the office 2-3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days. What We're Looking for 0–2 years of software development experience (or equivalent experience through internships, academic projects, or bootcamps) Design, develop, test, and deploy software using technologies such as Java or JavaScript, AWS and framework exposure such as SpringBoot, React, Angular is a plus. Understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming Exposure to databases, APIs, and application development concepts Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices Our uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
