Deal Desk Strategist

What You'll Do Own Deal Desk support for larger and more strategic deals in your assigned region, embedded directly with assigned AEs Proactively initiate deal strategy conversations with sellers ahead of key milestones, flagging early where a deal may need extra structuring time Document the sequence of events required to close each assigned deal and track progress against it Participate in regular cadence meetings with account teams to support deal velocity from inception to closure Own deal structuring and documentation, including order form updates Secure required internal approvals and coordinate directly with Legal on standard contract terms and redlines, looping in senior team members for non-standard or higher-risk terms Join customer calls when needed to clarify deal terms and help remove friction to close Respond to account teams' deal-related questions and provide playbook guidance for common deal scenarios Support quarter-end and month-end close periods, including occasional after-hours availability during peak windows Contribute to team targets on deal cycle time, approval turnaround, accuracy, and Sales satisfaction 8-10 years of relevant experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar deal-support function Experience supporting AEs directly on deals of varying complexity, including exposure to enterprise or larger accounts Working knowledge of contract structuring, order forms, and standard commercial and pricing terms Comfort coordinating with Legal on redlines, with good judgment for recognizing when to escalate non-standard terms Clear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort joining customer calls when needed Ability to manage multiple concurrent deals under deadline pressure, particularly during close periods A detail-oriented, process-driven approach to documentation and approvals At Freshworks, we have fostered an environment that enables everyone to find their true potential, purpose, and passion, welcoming colleagues of all backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, religions, and ethnicities.
