Senior Director, Data Center Operations

Responsible for very large or complex data center sites across multiple regions or countries and defines the group wide strategy for performance monitoring, aligning KPIs and objectives to drive global efficiency, uptime, and customer satisfaction. Oversees capacity evaluations for physical, power, cooling, and security needs to ensure readiness and operational excellence, and partners with executive leadership on long-term operational and financial targets. Drives the adoption of automation and predictive analytics, establish crisis management and process improvement standards, and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and compliance. Leads major expansion initiatives, serves as the senior executive liaison across regions, develops partnerships, and manages the full lifecycle of hardware assets—overseeing installations, maintenance, and procurement, approving large investments, and directing audits to optimize efficiency, security, and scalability. This role owns how facilities operations is run at scale. That includes operational strategy, execution governance, leadership capability, maintenance and service operating models, incident readiness, process discipline, and performance accountability across the portfolio. The Senior Director ensures OCI’s facilities organization can execute consistently across site operations, service delivery, chief engineering, reliability support, building automation, centralized operations support, and related site-support functions. This is not primarily a design-engineering role, nor is it a single-site operations role. It is the senior operational leadership position responsible for translating strategy into repeatable execution across the facilities organization.
