As a Business Analysis Associate II within Trading Venue Cost Optimization , you will be a part of a group of specialized individuals within “Cost and Commission Services” (CCS) group, working on the mandate of optimizing our BCE cost. You will work with trading desk across all the asset classes, eg. Equities, Interest Rates, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Commodities, and cover all the countries in North America (NAMR) and Latin America (LATAM), and often partnering with colleagues in other regions. Additionally, you will analyze trading data, collaborate with stakeholders, and help shape the future of cost management. Job responsibilities Analyze and interpret complex data sets from varied sources, utilizing advanced data analytics skills to uncover patterns and provide insightful reporting in support of operational and strategic initiatives. Develop and implement automation strategies, leveraging systems architecture knowledge to optimize processes and drive efficiency within the department. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with diverse teams across the organization to align efforts, share knowledge, and drive the successful implementation of business strategies. Utilize strategic thinking to evaluate potential scenarios, assess risks, and make informed decisions that have a direct impact on departmental outcomes. Provide coaching to team members, empowering them to take ownership of their work while ensuring objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Understand trading venues and their relationships with JPMorgan’s trading desks Analyze large trading and brokerage data to identify costs and cost-saving opportunities Present data analysis findings to global teams and business managers Support brokerage negotiations and draft rate cards Assist with MIS design and dashboard management (Tableau) Manage internal and external stakeholders Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis with a focus on uncovering patterns and providing insightful reporting, showcasing expertise equivalent to 3+ years of experience. Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing automation strategies, with a strong understanding of systems architecture. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional collaboration, with experience in working with diverse teams across an organization. Advanced strategic thinking skills, with a track record of evaluating potential scenarios, assessing risks, and making informed decisions. Experience in providing coaching and delegation to team members, with a focus on empowering individuals and ensuring efficient achievement of objectives. Provide quality service to customers through continuous communication. Understand software delivery lifecycle and have skills in industry standard methodologies and related tasks. Minimum 6 years’ experience in Financial Services Advanced analytical skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Strong understanding of OTC traded products and trading venues Excellent English communication, negotiation skills, and integrity Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Capability to leverage artificial intelligence and AI tools to enhance data analysis, uncover business trends, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making. Proficiency in implementing automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Expertise in applying customer service and conflict management skills to understand client needs, resolve stakeholder issues, and facilitate effective collaboration. Ability to craft clear and effective prompt writing to guide data analysis and ensure consistent outcomes. Ability to contribute to a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge and supporting team initiatives. Competence in technology/process release management, with proficiency in using software applications, digital platforms, and other technological tools to solve problems and improve processes. Strong presentation skills, existing relationships with trading venues in the Americas, basic understanding of trading flows/products/costs, and familiarity with SQL queries are all beneficial
