Risk Analyst

Verisk's Catastrophe and Risk Solutions (CRS) team provides risk modeling software and consulting services to insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and other financial intermediaries. We're looking for a Risk Consultant or Risk Analyst to join our Consulting and Client Service Team, based in Boston, MA. In this role, you will build client relationships based on your knowledge of Verisk's products, helping clients get the most out of their catastrophe modeling workflow. You will support a range of client-facing project work, from routine questions to multi-month consulting engagements. You will interpret and analyze data using Verisk's Touchstone, TouchstoneRe, and Synergy Studio software, and provide recommendations to internal and external stakeholders on how to apply that data to their business problems. You will lead, manage, and execute projects for clients and internal stakeholders, working with other internal teams to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard of quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and client deadlines at once will be important assets in this role. • Bachelor’s Degree that included quantitative courses such as mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, business or computer science • Experience of two or more years in a catastrophe modeling or actuarial support role is preferred • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Powerpoint, Word and Excel is essential. Working knowledge or experience with Power Query or Power BI is also preferred. • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio or other database management or querying software is preferred • Experience with Claude, Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools is preferred #LI-ZP1 #LI-Hybrid
