Finance Data & Insights (FDI) Chief of Staff, Vice President

Job Description As the Finance Data & Insights (FDI) Chief of Staff, Vice President you will own the operating cadence and governance that keeps planning, priorities, and execution aligned across FDI’s seven Area Products. You will play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency by driving consistent portfolio ways of working and productivity improvements working with the FDI Product Owner, Area Product Owners (APOs) and Agility Leads. You will also be a key partner to FDI leadership—running executive communication cadences, supporting strategic planning sessions, and ensuring leadership forums have clear narratives, trade-offs, and decision asks. Job responsibilities Collaborate with the FDI Product Owner, APOs and Product Agility Leads to understand goals and align objectives and priorities. Partner with Agility leads and APOs to identify productivity opportunities using data-driven insights Identify and drive improvements in planning, intake, reporting, and tool hygiene to improve throughput, predictability, and capacity allocation Implement best practices & process standardization across FDI Area Products to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness. Monitor the overall health of the portfolio through key metrics and data (e.g., business & customer outcomes, OKRs, product health metrics, capacity distribution). Own the development of leadership-ready narratives and materials for key forums (cabinet quarterly business reviews, quarterly planning read outs, roadmap updates, etc.) including clear decision asks, options and trade-offs. Translate complex portfolio status into concise narratives: outcomes, progress, risks, dependencies, and recommended actions. Offer thought leadership, strategic, and analytical support to the FDI leadership team as they develop new strategies and deliver on priorities. Manage operational cadences for executive communication and reporting with clear timelines and accountability. Support periodic FDI strategic planning sessions – Ideation, material development, follow up actions Support training, needs assessments, skill assessments and development activities to enable workforce development. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, program management, or performance optimization. Proven ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies. Exceptional consulting abilities to guide partners in optimizing their product strategies and achieving business objectives. Experience managing portfolio cadences such as quarterly planning, roadmap governance, and executive reporting. Working proficiency with Jira and Jira Align for portfolio reporting and transparency (in partnership with Agility team). Self-started with experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including analysts, business leaders, and technology teams. Ability to assess adoption challenges, analyze feedback, and develop targeted solutions to drive success. Excellent communication skills with experience authoring executive-level communications and presentations. Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and ambiguity. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience working in Consumer Finance and/or a Consumer Data Environment Experience working in an internal strategy group or at a strategy/management consulting firm. Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness initiatives. Experience leveraging AI tools to support operational execution, drive productivity and efficiency.
