Engineer - Geotechnical

WSP's Global Capability Center (GCC) India is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support the US Earth & Environment business. This position will serve as a technical delivery resource supporting multidisciplinary environmental, mining, remediation, and/or civil infrastructure projects across the United States. The role is focused on geotechnical engineering analyses, design support, numerical modeling, report preparation, and digital delivery, working closely with US-based geotechnical, environmental, hydrogeological, mining, or remediation teams. The candidate will work with field data collected by US teams and provide technical interpretation, modeling, design support, documentation, and QA/QC services. Key Competencies / Skills / Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or closely related discipline. 5-7 years of relevant professional experience. Demonstrated geotechnical design and analysis experience within a consulting engineering environment. Experience supporting environmental, mining, water, energy, or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of soil and rock mechanics, groundwater fundamentals, geotechnical and geohazard assessments, foundation engineering, and earthworks engineering. Software experience: gINT, OpenGround, PLAXIS 2D/3D, GeoStudio, SLIDE, SLOPE/W, Settle3, L-Pile, etc. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States. Experience supporting US-based geotechnical projects. Familiarity with California seismic engineering practices.
