Associate - Pipeline Design (Water & Wastewater)

Suitable candidate for this role is a Civil Design Engineer with proven experience in the design and delivery of buried pipeline infrastructure for water, wastewater and stormwater projects. The role requires a strong understanding of pipeline alignment development, hydraulic design and the detailed design of associated civil structures. The successful candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and capable of developing three-dimensional pipe networks, long sections and coordinated designs that integrate hydraulic, utility, operational and construction requirements. Software Proficiencies Highly proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and capable of developing three-dimensional pipe networks, long sections and coordinated designs that integrate hydraulic, utility, operational and construction requirements. Perform clash detection, coordination, and model integration within BIM environments, ensuring alignment across civil, structural, MEP disciplines. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong skills in preparing high-quality client presentations, internal reports, and business documentation. Qualifications Master’s degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering or similar. Member of a professional body like CIWEM, ICE etc.; Chartered or equivalent status preferred. Experience 15+ years of experience as civil design engineer with proven experience in the design and delivery of buried pipeline infrastructure for water, wastewater and stormwater projects. Past experience in AU/NZ projects is preferred; should at least have experience in overseas (UK/US/ME) projects BGV: Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
