We are looking for graduates to join our Energy Networks (T&D) team in 2027, supporting the delivery of transmission and distribution infrastructure that connects renewable energy , strengthens grid resilience and helps create a secure, lower-carbon electricity network . Opportunities are available in: Newcastle and Scotland A little bit more about your role and the team… As a Graduate in our Energy Networks (T&D) teams, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of the transmission and distribution infrastructure that moves electricity safely and reliably from where it is generated to where it is needed. As demand grows and more renewable energy connects to the grid, this work is critical to creating a secure, resilient and lower-carbon energy system. You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary specialists across substations, overhead lines, underground cables, HVDC, FACTS devices and wider network solutions, supporting the engineering and delivery of critical infrastructure across the UK and beyond. From designing robust power networks to supporting the integration of clean energy, you’ll help improve system resilience and deliver long-term benefits for communities, businesses and the wider economy as the UK transitions to a net zero future. You will be curious and analytical, with motivation to solve engineering challenges that support a secure, lower-carbon energy system.
