Accountabilities:: Own the U.S. sales function, setting strategy, building scalable processes, and driving substantial growth in new customer acquisition and ARR. Develop and scale the existing team of Account Executives and BDRs while expanding into new states and adding Sales Managers as the organization grows. Lead by example on strategic accounts, participating directly in the full new-logo sales cycle from outbound prospecting and industry events through negotiation and close. Own the pilot-to-subscription conversion motion in close partnership with Customer Success teams responsible for ARR and expansion. Build trusted, long-term relationships with decision-makers across state and local government, public health, and human services agencies. Establish a high-performance culture across a remote sales organization through coaching, accountability structures, operating rhythms, and clear performance expectations. Represent the organization at key conferences and industry events, strengthening market presence and customer relationships. Partner closely with the CEO, Product, and Customer Success teams to refine messaging, pricing, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy. Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting while providing transparent, detailed reporting on sales performance and team results. Continuously identify opportunities to improve sales execution, market expansion, and organizational effectiveness. Requirements: Proven track record building and scaling a sales organization within a Series A–D SaaS company, including taking a relatively unknown business through significant market growth. Strong new-business and hunter mentality, with enthusiasm for winning new logos and creating the structure required for a sales team to succeed. Demonstrated ability to identify, coach, develop, and retain high-performing sales professionals while addressing performance issues decisively and constructively. Strong commercial judgment, forecasting discipline, and pipeline management skills. Intellectual curiosity and the ability to understand complex sales environments, including government structures, local challenges, legal frameworks, and procurement processes. Strong customer orientation and the ability to establish trusted relationships with public-sector and institutional decision-makers. Hands-on selling mindset and willingness to remain deeply involved in strategic deals while building and scaling the broader team. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Experience operating effectively in a distributed and remote environment. Based in or willing to relocate to the U.S. Eastern or Central Time Zones, with an East Coast location preferred. Experience as a founder with demonstrated commercial traction is a strong advantage. Experience selling to state and local government, including familiarity with budget cycles, RFPs, and procurement processes, is a strong advantage. Background in GovTech, HealthTech, human services software, or related sectors is a plus. Experience with pilot-to-subscription or land-and-expand sales models is a plus. Experience helping a UK or European company expand into the U.S. market is a plus. Benefits: $200,000–$280,000 USD base salary, depending on experience and scope.
