Virtual Khmer Teacher

Accountabilities:: Deliver dynamic, engaging, and effective Khmer language sessions to learners from around the world. Adapt and personalize learning programmes based on each student's goals, needs, proficiency level, and learning objectives. Provide clear, constructive written feedback after each session to help learners understand their progress and areas for improvement. Monitor learner development through the online learning platform and provide guidance to support progress toward agreed learning goals. Create an encouraging and motivating virtual classroom experience that supports learner engagement and confidence. Communicate professionally and efficiently with internal teams regarding learner progress, sessions, and other relevant matters. Deliver both one-to-one and group sessions online as required. Use video, audio, and other digital teaching tools effectively to provide an interactive and high-quality learning experience. Requirements: C2-level or proficient/native-level Khmer language ability. Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional online environment. At least two years of experience teaching a foreign language is preferred. A recognized language teaching certificate, such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate learners and build positive relationships remotely. Ability to personalize teaching approaches according to different learner profiles, goals, and proficiency levels. Strong organizational skills and reliability when managing online lessons and learner follow-up. Comfortable using a webcam and digital tools for virtual teaching. Reliable, high-speed internet connection and suitable home-working equipment, including a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, and headset. Willingness to teach online through both individual and group sessions is advantageous. Benefits: Fully remote, online working arrangement.
