UX Designer (Mid Level)

Accountabilities: Collaborate with UX designers, UI designers, developers, strategists, marketing teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive digital experiences. Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, user needs, requirements, constraints, and project goals. Conduct UX audits to identify usability challenges, friction points, and opportunities for improvement. Support and, when appropriate, lead research activities such as market research, user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations. Analyse qualitative and quantitative research findings and translate them into clear, actionable UX insights. Define user problems and contribute to structured ideation and solution development. Create user flows, information architecture diagrams, and other UX artefacts that clearly communicate proposed experiences. Develop annotated wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate design intent to clients, UI designers, and development teams. Apply user-centred design, usability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles throughout the design process. Iterate on UX solutions based on feedback from users, clients, stakeholders, designers, and internal teams. Work closely with developers to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with implementation constraints. Prepare clear and structured UX deliverables for handoff to UI and development teams. Facilitate or contribute to workshops, design discussions, feedback sessions, and collaborative problem-solving activities. Manage priorities and deliverables effectively across multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality. Stay informed about emerging UX trends, tools, methodologies, and best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the design team. Requirements 3–5 years of professional experience in a UX design role. Proven experience contributing across the UX lifecycle, from discovery and research through design, iteration, and handoff. Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and established UX methodologies. Practical knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and heuristic evaluation. Good understanding of information architecture, interaction design, usability, accessibility, and inclusive design. Experience creating user flows, wireframes, annotated designs, prototypes, and other structured UX deliverables. Proficiency with Figma or comparable wireframing and prototyping tools, with Figma being the primary tool used in the role. Experience collaborating closely with UI designers and developers throughout digital product development. Previous experience working directly with clients or professional stakeholders. Basic understanding of analytics and data-informed design principles. Ability to translate complex business and user requirements into clear, practical UX solutions. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain design decisions and tell a clear UX story. Comfortable facilitating or contributing to workshops, reviews, and feedback sessions. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Ability to work independently and take ownership while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Relevant qualification in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
