Sr. Manager, Global Procurement (Hard Home)

Accountabilities: Define and execute category-level procurement strategies, commercial roadmaps, and vendor distribution plans aligned with business growth and margin objectives. Establish short- and long-term procurement targets while protecting product quality, supply continuity, and relevant ESG considerations. Drive significant product-cost reductions through rigorous analysis, negotiation, supplier competition, and scalable procurement frameworks. Partner with technology teams to integrate procurement capabilities, processes, and playbooks into vendor-management and product-catalog tools. Design and lead competitive, end-to-end RFP processes, from supplier identification and bidding through negotiation, evaluation, and award. Develop repeatable negotiation frameworks that deliver immediate savings while strengthening long-term category maturity and competitive advantage. Develop AI-enabled tools and agents to systematize RFP execution and support scenario analysis. Build and apply component-level clean sheets to improve pricing transparency and support cost negotiations and buy-plan approvals. Review buy plans, validate category costing, and ensure alignment with company margin targets. Partner with material sourcing teams to secure transparent and competitive pricing from key material suppliers and optimize upstream input costs. Negotiate launch costing and establish structured schedules for renegotiation as products reach scale or defined cost-review triggers. Provide achievable scale-costing targets to merchandising and product teams to support commercial planning and product development. Collaborate with material managers, sourcing teams, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to incorporate material benefits into finished-goods costing. Integrate upstream material availability and cost considerations into product design and development cycles. Identify opportunities to reshape the supply chain and create additional financial value through verticalization, volume consolidation, and strategic supplier partnerships. Explore innovative approaches to managing critical commodities and materials, including opportunities related to market-making, direct sourcing, and price-risk management. Requirements 12–15 years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within consumer goods, retail, or a closely related environment. Proven track record managing competitive RFP processes with international manufacturing partners. Hands-on expertise developing and using clean-sheet costing models for supplier negotiations and cost optimization. Strong understanding of commodity costing, manufacturing efficiency, consumption, cost and manufacturing excellence, raw-material availability, and supply-market dynamics. Demonstrated ability to negotiate transparent and competitive commercial terms while maintaining appropriate quality and supply standards. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with confidence using data to evaluate costs, scenarios, supplier performance, and business opportunities. Experience partnering cross-functionally with merchandising, materials, production, sourcing, and technology teams. Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute detailed procurement initiatives hands-on. Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder-management, and relationship-building skills. Ability to identify unconventional opportunities for supply-chain optimization and develop practical strategies to capture new sources of value.
