Accountabilities: Serve as a senior functional expert for Workday Talent and Performance, providing guidance on platform capabilities, configuration approaches, and leading practices. Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards. Design, configure, test, implement, and support Workday Talent and Performance functionality, including performance management, goals, feedback, talent reviews, succession planning, and skills. Configure and maintain Workday business processes, condition rules, notifications, security considerations, and related framework components. Lead solution design, impact assessments, configuration activities, and cross-functional analysis for HR technology initiatives. Partner with HR, Talent, Performance, Technology, IT, integration, and other business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions and understand downstream impacts. Coordinate and support unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, production validation, release management, and change control activities. Provide advanced Tier 3 troubleshooting and resolve complex production issues in a timely and sustainable manner. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, usability, stability, and the overall user experience. Evaluate new Workday functionality, product releases, and emerging HR technology trends to identify opportunities for business improvement. Support governance, documentation, platform stability, and ongoing optimization across the Workday ecosystem. Collaborate with configuration and integration teams to support enterprise initiatives and ensure consistent solutions across HR technology areas. Use reporting, dashboards, data analysis, and emerging AI-enabled HR technologies to enhance decision-making and HR outcomes. Share expertise with colleagues and mentor less-experienced team members where appropriate. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience configuring and supporting HR technology solutions, including 3+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience. Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting Workday Talent and Performance functionality, with expertise in one or more areas such as Performance Management, Goals, Feedback, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, or Skills. Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable, sustainable Workday solutions. Hands-on experience configuring Workday business processes, condition rules, notifications, security considerations, and related framework components. Experience supporting the full testing lifecycle, including unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production validation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, particularly when supporting complex production environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills across HR, technology, IT, and business functions. Preferred Workday Pro certification in Talent, Performance, HCM, or a related area. Preferred 7+ years of HR technology or HRIS experience, including experience leading Workday implementations, enhancements, or transformation initiatives. Preferred experience supporting skills-based organizations, workforce transformation, Workday releases, integrations, and governance processes. Experience with Workday reporting, dashboards, data analysis, and AI-enabled HR technologies is advantageous. Knowledge of Talent Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Organizational Effectiveness, and broader HR processes is preferred. Experience mentoring junior team members and working within large, complex enterprise environments is a plus. Must be authorized to work in the United States; this role does not offer employment sponsorship. This is a fully remote U.S. position with no regular travel requirements. Benefits Fully remote position available within the United States. Base salary range of $97,900–$133,500 per year , depending on qualifications, skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors.
