Senior Web Engineer

Accountabilities:: Independently design, develop, and maintain sophisticated web solutions using React , ensuring high standards of code quality and architecture. Build scalable, maintainable, and robust applications using TypeScript and JavaScript , alongside technologies such as Next.js, Node.js, Express, and GraphQL. Develop modern, visually engaging, and accessible interfaces that follow WCAG standards and prioritize usability. Design and maintain detailed technical documentation in line with established engineering standards. Provide technical guidance and support to product and technology teams, helping resolve complex engineering challenges. Champion agile development practices and Continuous Delivery to support efficient and reliable product delivery. Mentor and coach fellow engineers while contributing to a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing. Participate in software planning, estimation, analysis, architecture, design, and specification activities. Identify technical dependencies, delivery risks, and resource requirements during project planning. Contribute to code peer reviews and promote consistent engineering standards across development teams. Drive and support improvements to agile processes, engineering workflows, productivity, and delivery effectiveness. Provide proactive technical support to customers and clients when required. Communicate important technical decisions, risks, dependencies, and issues during project and team meetings. Research emerging web technologies and identify opportunities to improve the platform, development experience, and customer-facing products. Contribute to the development of data-driven web experiences and use analytics insights to inform product and engineering decisions. Support the evolution of global, multilingual web platforms, including migrations from legacy CMS solutions to modern headless CMS architectures. Requirements: Demonstrable expertise in React and strong knowledge of modern frontend development. Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript , with experience using state-management approaches such as Redux and React Context. Experience with modern web technologies including React, Next.js, Express, Node.js, and GraphQL . Strong knowledge of CSS, SCSS, Less, and modern styling techniques, with a demonstrated commitment to accessible web development and WCAG standards. Proven experience developing large-scale, enterprise-level web applications or platforms with broad customer or organizational impact. Strong understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles , design patterns, and their practical application in production systems. Experience creating data-driven digital solutions with a strong focus on customer experience and usability. Familiarity with web analytics platforms and the ability to use data to inform design and development decisions. Knowledge of emerging Web 3.0 technologies and front-end interactivity, including exposure to AR/VR, blockchain, IoT, decentralized networks, and AI. Experience deploying cloud-based applications using AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform . Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance within an engineering team. Experience working with secure software products is desirable, including familiarity with PCI DSS requirements. Experience managing multilingual websites at global scale. Experience migrating legacy CMS platforms to modern headless CMS solutions such as Contentful, Prismic, Sanity, or dotCMS . Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex technical challenges into practical, user-focused solutions. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach in a fast-changing environment.
