Senior Software Engineer

Accountabilities:: Support, maintain, and enhance high-quality software modules and applications within the product suite. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues originating from internal and external users. Design, implement, and document application specifications, technical designs, features, and operational requirements before production releases. Develop enhancements that improve application performance, reliability, availability, and overall user experience. Communicate technical and operational issues clearly and promptly to engineering and business leadership. Ensure software development activities comply with established technology standards, processes, and quality requirements. Evaluate and introduce new technologies and innovative approaches that improve system efficiency and business outcomes. Continuously expand knowledge of technologies selected for integration into the software environment. Participate fully in the software development lifecycle, contributing to continuous process and engineering improvements. Collaborate effectively with senior developers, distributed development teams, project management, business owners, and other stakeholders. Mentor and provide technical guidance to other developers. Support special projects and other engineering initiatives as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience. At least 2 years of experience working with healthcare data. Strong C#/.NET development experience, including hands-on exposure to Blazor or comparable component-based .NET web frameworks, with sufficient depth to evaluate, integrate, or replatform an existing application. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS services, including App Service/Web Apps, API Management, Logic Apps or comparable workflow and integration orchestration tools, Key Vault, and Azure-managed relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL. Experience with enterprise identity platforms such as Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, or similar technologies, including SSO, MFA, and SCIM-based provisioning. Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms through REST APIs and webhooks, including bidirectional synchronization patterns with systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk. Proficiency working with large datasets and complex relational database environments. 4–5 years of experience working with relational databases and ETL processes. Strong experience optimizing and tuning SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Advanced understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles. 4–5 years of experience working with Java frameworks or the .NET Framework. Knowledge of one or more enterprise scheduling tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to solve complex problems, interpret data, and make timely decisions. Ability to work independently, maintain focus, follow established processes and protocols, and consistently deliver accurate and thorough work.
