Senior Software Engineer, ChartCheck

Accountabilities:: Design, develop, and maintain features supporting radiotherapy plan-checking workflows, including DICOM integration, image visualization, dose visualization, plan visualization, DVH evaluation, and creation of plan checks. Develop performant, reliable WPF desktop software using C# and .NET. Build and maintain front-end and back-end functionality across web and cloud systems. Integrate with oncology information systems through DICOM networking and related clinical interfaces. Collaborate with physicists and product leaders to understand clinical needs and translate requirements into production software. Contribute to application architecture, automated and manual testing, code reviews, and technical decision-making. Help maintain reliable, secure, and maintainable software within a clinical environment. Support teammates through collaboration, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership. Contribute to the development of new products and capabilities supporting cancer centers and radiation oncology workflows. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant software engineering experience; a Master’s degree is preferred. Deep programming expertise in a high-level language such as C#, C++, or Java, with strong C# application programming skills. Strong full-stack development experience spanning front-end and back-end web and cloud systems. Experience with C#/.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Lit or equivalent front-end technologies. Hands-on experience developing WPF applications with C#/.NET. Strong database experience with technologies such as MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Strong preference for front-end development, with the ability to contribute effectively across the full technology stack. Experience with clinical radiotherapy or medical imaging software and DICOM. Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and medical device regulations as they relate to software development. Experience with cybersecurity and software risk management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex technical and clinical requirements. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly when working with technical, clinical, and product stakeholders. Self-motivated and comfortable working effectively within a fully remote engineering environment. Benefits US base salary of $150,000–$180,000 USD per year , plus bonus eligibility.
