Senior Software Developer - Real-Time Processing Platform

Accountabilities:: Design, develop, and enhance core components of a large-scale real-time detection and event processing platform. Build and evolve distributed systems capable of processing and analyzing trillions of events per day with near-real-time performance. Develop capabilities across event processing, detection frameworks, event correlation, and stream-processing infrastructure. Solve complex engineering challenges related to scalability, reliability, performance, latency, throughput, and cost efficiency in cloud-native environments. Contribute to system architecture and the technical direction of next-generation platform capabilities. Deliver high-quality, production-ready software and operate systems reliably at significant scale. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform effectiveness, reliability, and operational excellence. Drive complex technical initiatives from concept through production with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. Mentor and support other developers while promoting strong engineering practices, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements: 5–10+ years of professional software development experience. Proven experience designing, building, and operating complex distributed systems at scale. Strong understanding of real-time data processing architectures and high-throughput systems. Experience delivering production-grade systems end-to-end and leading complex technical initiatives independently. Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Golang, Python, or Java . Experience building and deploying services in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP . Proficiency with containerized technologies including Docker and Kubernetes . Experience working with microservices architectures and CI/CD environments. Familiarity with event-streaming and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Spark, Redpanda, RabbitMQ, or SQS is an asset. Exposure to cybersecurity, observability, telemetry, or other data-intensive platforms is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for developing high-quality software at extreme scale. Interest in working at the intersection of large-scale data systems and cybersecurity. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and cross-functional teams. Ability to participate in remote video interviews with the camera on, with appropriate accommodations available for technical, bandwidth, or accessibility challenges. Willingness to complete required background checks and follow applicable information security policies and requirements.
