Senior Project Associate

Accountabilities:: Support the Project Lead in planning and executing assigned elements of clinical trials and project activities. Ensure assigned project activities adhere to established timelines, budgets, quality standards, and delivery objectives. Serve as a subject matter expert for relevant project management tools, systems, methodologies, and processes. Coordinate internal resources, external partners, and third-party vendors to support efficient project execution. Maintain and distribute study-specific financial reports and contribute to monitoring the financial health of assigned projects. Apply established financial processes and systems to support accurate project tracking and reporting. Conduct ongoing analysis of project performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that may affect short- and long-term objectives. Document project scope, objectives, deliverables, and relevant stakeholder expectations. Coordinate communication across project team members, ensuring stakeholders remain informed about project status, changes, risks, and priorities. Document project risks and issues, escalate them appropriately, and drive timely follow-up through resolution. Maintain project management systems, tools, documentation, and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle. Lead or support quality assurance activities, including audit preparation, internal reviews, documentation, and follow-up on identified actions. Coordinate tasks and activities performed by junior team members while providing mentorship and technical or process guidance. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for assigned deliverables and project outcomes. Requirements Professional experience in project coordination, project management, clinical research, life sciences, or a related environment. Experience supporting the planning and execution of complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Strong understanding of project management principles, processes, tools, and methodologies. Ability to manage timelines, budgets, project documentation, risks, issues, and action items effectively. Experience working with project management systems and maintaining accurate project records. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor project performance and use data to support decisions and corrective actions. Familiarity with financial tracking and reporting within project or study environments. Experience coordinating internal teams, external partners, vendors, or other third parties. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to keep diverse project participants aligned. Ability to identify, document, escalate, and follow through on project risks and issues. Experience supporting quality assurance activities, audits, internal reviews, and corrective actions is valuable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple deliverables and deadlines. Ability to work independently with limited oversight while contributing effectively within collaborative teams.
