Senior Product Manager, Engagement & Promotions

Accountabilities:: Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for promotions and engagement, including new promotion types, personalization, and the app home screen experience. Determine where machine learning can improve promotion selection, targeting, and timing to create more relevant member experiences. Launch and rapidly iterate on ML-driven promotions, using experimentation and measurable outcomes to guide product decisions. Build engagement experiences that provide members with useful financial guidance and recurring value that encourages long-term retention. Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Growth, and Operations to align priorities, clarify plans, and drive efficient execution. Develop and maintain experimentation frameworks and supporting infrastructure that enable fast testing, reliable incrementality measurement, and clear performance readouts. Monitor developments in applied machine learning and artificial intelligence and translate relevant advances into practical product opportunities. Use data, experimentation, and product judgment to identify opportunities, simplify complex problems, and make decisive decisions. Own outcomes rather than simply roadmaps, balancing short-term experimentation with scalable, durable product systems. Report to the Director of Product Management – Growth. Requirements 5+ years of Product Management experience owning engagement, retention, or loyalty programs in a high-volume, technology-driven B2C environment. Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders, including C-suite stakeholders, to propose, refine, and deliver new initiatives. Strong analytical skills and an investigative mindset, with the ability to identify meaningful insights within complex data and translate them into action. Strong understanding of how activation, engagement, and retention connect across a broader product ecosystem. Practical experience applying AI to product work, such as idea generation, data analysis, workflow automation, or other creative use cases that improve team and business effectiveness. Technical curiosity and fluency, with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field considered a plus. Strong product judgment, ownership, and comfort operating in ambiguous and evolving environments. Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts, create alignment, and bring diverse teams along. Ability to balance speed and experimentation with long-term scalability and sustainability. Experience building recommendation engines or machine-learning-driven promotion services is a plus. Experience in consumer fintech, particularly short-term lending, is a plus. Benefits $150,000–$200,000 base salary, with equity opportunities.
