Senior Product Engineer (Darkplane, Agentic Platform)

Accountabilities: Build and evolve the agentic development platform, primarily using TypeScript and Node.js, with Go across control-plane and analytics services. Design, develop, and harden systems for safely running untrusted code and supporting customers adopting AI throughout the software development lifecycle. Build and improve ingest pipelines, evaluation runtimes, data models, application runtimes, and other core platform components. Partner with AI engineers to make agentic workflows reliable, performant, and predictable in production. Shape developer experiences, workflows, feedback loops, and guardrails that help engineering teams confidently review and ship AI-generated code. Own product initiatives end to end, including ideation, product decisions, backend development, and frontend implementation. Engage directly with customers to understand how engineering teams adopt agentic workflows and translate those insights into product priorities. Balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and business considerations when deciding what to build, improve, or remove. Identify technical risks early and contribute to platform stability, reliability, and operational excellence. Maintain strong observability across the systems you own so issues can be detected and addressed proactively. Collaborate across engineering and product disciplines while documenting decisions and keeping stakeholders informed. Contribute to the evolution of practical approaches for integrating AI agents into real-world software engineering workflows. Requirements: Significant professional experience building and owning software products end to end, including frontend development. Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js, along with Go or the ability to become productive in Go quickly using modern coding agents. Solid understanding of distributed systems and the engineering practices required to operate reliable production services. Strong data-modeling skills across relational databases such as PostgreSQL and analytical databases such as ClickHouse or comparable technologies. Experience building or operating agentic AI systems, LLM pipelines, code execution environments, or sandboxed runtimes. Strong product instincts and the ability to make decisions based on customer needs, business context, and technical considerations rather than simply executing a predefined backlog. Genuine curiosity about how engineering teams work and how organizations are adopting AI-assisted and agentic software development. Fluency with AI and agentic coding tools, combined with sound judgement around when to rely on them and when human engineering oversight is required. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive habit of documenting decisions, sharing context, and working independently. Familiarity with observability tooling or the OpenTelemetry ecosystem is a plus. Experience building analytical, experimentation, or evaluation platforms is advantageous.
