Senior .NET Engineer – Azure

Accountabilities:: Own and resolve complex P1/P2 production incidents affecting Azure-hosted .NET applications, APIs, services, and integrations. Perform deep technical troubleshooting across application, infrastructure, and platform layers, including Azure App Services, AKS, networking, identity, storage, and background services. Receive escalations from L1 and L2 support teams and drive investigations from initial diagnosis through technical resolution and closure. Coordinate incident response across Development, Infrastructure, Security, Support, and other operational stakeholders. Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring incidents and high-impact outages using logs, metrics, traces, and distributed telemetry. Create detailed, clear, and executive-ready root-cause analysis documentation covering findings, business impact, risks, and resolution plans. Configure and optimize Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, alerts, and operational dashboards. Monitor and improve application performance, availability, resilience, and operational efficiency. Diagnose code-level issues involving C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, integrations, background services, performance, memory, threading, and asynchronous processing. Recommend and implement distributed-system resilience patterns, including retry policies, circuit breakers, bulkhead isolation, caching, and asynchronous processing. Use SQL to investigate production issues and validate application and data-related findings. Support vulnerability remediation, security patching, CI/CD troubleshooting, and deployment investigations when required. Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical teams and senior stakeholders. Requirements: 5+ years of professional experience working with C# and .NET applications, including substantial production support or operational troubleshooting experience. Advanced hands-on experience troubleshooting ASP.NET Core applications, REST APIs, integrations, and background services at production scale. Proven ability to independently own and resolve critical P1/P2 production incidents. Strong practical knowledge of Azure App Services, AKS, storage, networking, and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD. Ability to navigate the Azure Portal confidently during real-time incident investigations. Strong root-cause analysis skills using logs, metrics, traces, and distributed telemetry. Hands-on experience configuring and tuning Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, alerts, and operational dashboards. Ability to diagnose complex code-level issues involving performance, memory management, threading, asynchronous processing, and integration failures. Practical experience implementing or troubleshooting retry policies, circuit breakers, bulkhead isolation, caching, and asynchronous processing in distributed .NET environments. Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for production investigation and data validation. Experience coordinating technical incident resolution across Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Support teams. Strong ownership, composure under pressure, sound technical judgment, and a resolution-focused approach. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to produce clear executive-level written communication. Experience with vulnerability remediation and security-patching workflows in Azure is a plus. Experience troubleshooting CI/CD and deployment failures using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions is preferred. Familiarity with Docker Compose, Helm, Terraform, Bicep, Azure cost optimization, scaling policies, or reserved capacity is an advantage. Experience supporting operational or distribution-related enterprise systems is beneficial. Relevant Microsoft certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-305, AZ-500, Azure Administrator, or Azure DevOps Engineer are a plus. ITIL Foundation certification or practical experience with formal incident-management processes is advantageous. Benefits: Temporary 6-month opportunity.
