Senior Integration & API Developer – AWS, Python and AI Agents

Accountabilities:: Design, develop, and maintain APIs that support business processes, system integrations, and AI-powered applications. Build and manage integrations between internal systems, external platforms, Salesforce, REST APIs, and third-party services. Design and implement AI agent integrations capable of interacting with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and business workflows. Develop AI-powered workflows and automation using LLMs, AI agents, tool/function calling, and API-based integrations. Work directly with clients to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver effective technical solutions. Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and support integration solutions running in AWS environments. Optimize integrations for reliability, scalability, and performance while identifying and resolving technical issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Requirements: 5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong expertise in API design, development, and integration, with proven experience connecting complex systems and services. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, RDS, SQS, or comparable cloud services. Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-quality applications and integrations. Experience with AI and LLM technologies, including AI agents and applications that can retrieve information, invoke APIs or tools, make decisions, and execute multi-step workflows. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize distributed integrations. Excellent client-facing, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Experience with Salesforce integrations is a plus. Knowledge of event-driven architectures and services such as SQS and SNS is a plus. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, is a plus. Benefits: Fully remote position.
