Senior Domain Expert, Total Rewards

Accountabilities:: Own a defined area of total rewards content and product capabilities, such as job architecture, market data integration, pay range design, offer intelligence, or a related domain. Guide the roadmap for the assigned domain, prioritize initiatives, and maintain a high practitioner standard for content and product outputs. Advise customers and internal stakeholders on complex compensation questions, including architecture redesigns, market data conflicts, range strategies, offer logic, and geographic differentials. Provide expert guidance on total rewards strategy, explain design tradeoffs, and support defensible compensation decisions. Create scalable resources such as customer briefings, design guides, communication templates, frameworks, and worked examples. Partner directly with Product and AI teams to embed compensation expertise into product capabilities, including offer recommendation logic, compensation structures, and market data workflows. Translate customer analytics, recurring questions, and practitioner needs into product requirements and recommendations for development teams. Identify edge cases and design gaps before they affect customers and contribute to product and implementation decisions. Participate selectively in customer QBRs, offer strategy discussions, architecture reviews, and other high-impact conversations involving senior HR and compensation stakeholders. Surface emerging customer patterns and gaps in existing frameworks and collaborate with senior colleagues and Product teams to continuously improve compensation intelligence capabilities. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in total rewards, compensation, organizational design, or a closely related field. Meaningful experience with job architecture, market data, pay range design, organizational design, or enterprise-scale compensation projects. Deep knowledge of compensation practices, including leveling frameworks, benchmarking methodologies, salary structures, offer construction, geographic differentials, and incentive design. Demonstrated ability to translate compensation expertise into scalable resources such as playbooks, tools, products, standards, or enablement materials. Experience communicating credibly with senior HR leaders, CHROs, compensation committees, or HR business partner leadership teams about compensation design and tradeoffs. Strong judgment when presenting compensation options versus recommending specific outcomes. Proven ability to create high-quality documentation and content that enables broader teams and reduces dependence on one-to-one expertise. Comfort considering how compensation expertise can be translated into AI-enabled product capabilities, particularly around offer recommendations and compensation structure design. Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in HR technology, compensation SaaS, or another enterprise technology environment is strongly preferred.
