Support the migration of infrastructure configuration management from Chef to Ansible. Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and automation workflows. Use Python to support infrastructure automation and scripting tasks. Apply DevOps best practices to improve the reliability, consistency, and maintainability of infrastructure operations. Leverage AI-assisted coding tools and techniques to support Ansible development. Collaborate with relevant technical stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and deliver project objectives. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings extensive DevOps experience and strong hands-on expertise in infrastructure automation, particularly with Ansible and Python. More than 10 years of professional work experience. Strong experience in DevOps engineering and infrastructure automation. Demonstrated proficiency with Ansible. Strong Python scripting and development skills. Experience with Chef is highly desirable. Previous experience migrating configuration management from Chef to Ansible is a significant advantage. Familiarity with AI-assisted coding for Ansible development is beneficial. Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a remote, contract-based project.
