Requirements: Significant experience as a Senior Tech Manager leading, mentoring, and developing software engineering teams, particularly individual contributors. Strong professional background in software engineering, with practical understanding of scalable and sustainable technology solutions. Experience with distributed architectures, microservices, and scalable systems, including the ability to participate meaningfully in architectural discussions. Hands-on knowledge of cloud computing environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with engineering metrics, including DORA Metrics, and the ability to use operational data to support team and delivery decisions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to both technical and business audiences and build effective relationships with stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage expectations, communicate delivery constraints, and connect technical initiatives with business outcomes. Executive-level perspective, with the ability to synthesize complex information, identify the most relevant points, and communicate them clearly to different audiences. Strong delegation, mentoring, talent development, and people-management capabilities, combined with a results-oriented approach and focus on business impact. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, Datadog, or similar platforms is considered a differentiator.
