Program Manager

Accountabilities: Lead delivery of a portfolio of consulting and design engagements, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations. Partner with senior consulting leaders to translate strategic recommendations and client objectives into practical delivery plans. Monitor portfolio health, identify delivery risks and resource constraints, and implement corrective actions before issues affect outcomes. Serve as an escalation point for project delivery challenges and facilitate effective resolution across project teams and stakeholders. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, establishing clear expectations and supporting career development. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, performance reviews, and workforce planning for the project management team. Oversee staffing, resource allocation, workload balancing, utilization, forecasting, and capacity planning across client engagements. Monitor project financial performance and delivery metrics, recommending adjustments to improve operational efficiency and client outcomes. Establish and continuously improve project management methodologies, governance processes, tools, templates, reporting standards, and best practices. Drive continuous improvement using project metrics, lessons learned, retrospectives, and client feedback. Ensure project deliverables meet established standards for quality, technical accuracy, documentation, consistency, and professionalism. Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding project status, milestones, risks, decisions, and potential changes. Participate in executive-level client meetings and issue-resolution activities when required. Coordinate closely with consultants, technical teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment between recommendations and execution. Promote accountability, responsiveness, collaboration, and service excellence throughout project delivery. Support the ongoing development of project management standards and practices across the organization. Requirements 7+ years of project management experience, preferably within a consulting environment, with 3+ years of experience leading project teams or supervising project managers preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Extensive familiarity with low-voltage and physical security technologies, systems, and design concepts. Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary client engagements. Familiarity with project financial management, forecasting, resource planning, and portfolio performance management. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and QuickBase. Experience with Studio and Bluebeam is a plus. Strong ability to communicate and present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to identify critical-path activities, prioritize competing tasks, and maintain consistent progress toward deliverables. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams while coaching, mentoring, developing, and holding others accountable. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with an ability to evaluate project performance rigorously. Strategic, collaborative, adaptable, and growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, client service, and operational excellence. Ability to work independently while building effective relationships across consulting, technical, and project management teams. Ability to meet client and/or government security screening requirements. U.S. citizenship is required due to citizenship-based legal restrictions, with proof of citizenship required as a condition of employment. Successful completion of a background check upon hire and every two years thereafter. Ability to work remotely from the United States with a quiet, designated workspace and reliable high-speed internet. Willingness to travel up to 20%. Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
