Process Improvement Lead

Accountabilities: Support the stand-up and implementation of a new government healthcare contract, helping establish the operational framework, processes, workflows, and controls required for execution. Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions that enhance operational performance. Help design and implement standardized operating procedures and controls across claims administration and financial services operations. Monitor claims and financial inventory to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for workflow improvement. Develop and implement workflow enhancements that improve efficiency, quality, visibility, and operational consistency. Establish and monitor operational controls designed to support accurate, timely, and compliant execution. Coordinate and support large-scale projects related to process transformation, operational readiness, and implementation. Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, claims, finance, project management, and other functional areas to align priorities and drive solutions. Analyze operational performance and use findings to recommend practical improvements and corrective actions. Support implementation activities during the transition into the new business opportunity, helping ensure processes and teams are prepared for operational requirements. Apply continuous improvement methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and strengthen operational performance. Provide updates and insights to leadership regarding process improvement initiatives, inventory, operational controls, risks, and implementation progress. Maintain a structured, proactive approach to identifying issues and driving them toward resolution. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of experience in operations supporting claims administration . 2+ years of project management experience , including experience supporting large-scale projects. Lean Six Sigma or Project Management certification required. Demonstrated experience identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing process improvements. Strong understanding of claims operations, workflows, inventory management, and operational controls. Strong project planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and organizational levels. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate operational issues into clear recommendations and action plans. Ability to manage competing priorities, timelines, and complex implementation activities. Comfortable working in a regulated environment where accuracy, compliance, documentation, and operational controls are important. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams. Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements. Must successfully receive interim approval for a government security clearance through the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). Candidates currently residing in Puerto Rico are not eligible for this position due to government contract restrictions. Ability to work from a dedicated home workspace without ongoing interruptions and maintain appropriate safeguards for protected information. Reliable home internet connection with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload . Ability to travel occasionally to company offices for training or meetings. Annual base salary range of $94,900–$130,500 , with actual compensation varying based on geographic location, experience, education, certifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
