Accountabilities: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for major financial data initiatives, from initial data analysis and discovery through launch and ongoing evolution. Establish product frameworks, user stories, milestones, roadmaps, and priorities while supporting product managers in developing detailed product requirements. Partner with internal experts in capital markets and investment research to understand user workflows, identify pain points, validate product hypotheses, and inform prioritization. Serve as a key bridge between complex financial workflows and technical execution, translating sophisticated analytical requirements into robust data architectures and product solutions. Collaborate with platform teams across web, Excel, AI, and other product areas to ensure financial data is delivered consistently and effectively across user experiences. Partner with senior leaders to coordinate resources, monitor milestones, report progress, and manage execution across two major product initiatives. Articulate core customer problems and work with engineering teams to evaluate solutions based on customer feedback, strategic priorities, market dynamics, and technical feasibility. Engage directly with customers to understand workflows and pain points, gathering and documenting actionable feedback that informs product decisions. Monitor industry developments, competitive offerings, and relevant financial data products to identify emerging opportunities and inform product and content strategy. Mentor and coach product managers in partnership with team leadership, supporting professional development, functional excellence, and high-performing product teams. Communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across product, engineering, research, and other cross-functional stakeholders to build alignment and drive execution. Requirements 12+ years of product management experience, including several years in fintech, investment research, financial services, or a closely related industry. Demonstrated experience managing complex products involving multiple teams, dependencies, priorities, and technical considerations. Strong product judgment, with the ability to make difficult tradeoffs, sequence development effectively, and deliver value within demanding timelines. Strong understanding of financial data and user workflows related to areas such as investment research, quantitative analysis, M&A, or capital markets. Excellent communication, collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across technical and non-technical teams. Exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to managing complex initiatives. Experience using tools such as Notion and Linear. Comfort working with complex datasets and using SQL, LLMs, or similar tools to investigate data, audit quality, and translate technical findings into user value is an asset. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline is preferred; an MBA or CFA designation is an asset. Experience mentoring or coaching product managers and contributing to the development of strong product teams. Ability to combine customer research, market analysis, technical feasibility, and business priorities when shaping product strategy. Benefits Base compensation range of $170,000–$200,000 CAD .
