Accountabilities:: Own the end-to-end withdrawal process, ensuring requests are reviewed, approved, and processed accurately and within agreed service levels. Monitor payment platform and processor balances to maintain sufficient liquidity and proactively identify potential payout shortfalls. Track transaction volumes, processing performance, and turnaround times, taking action when volumes increase or operational issues emerge. Identify, escalate, and follow through on payment-related issues until they are fully resolved. Improve payment workflows and processes to make withdrawals faster, more efficient, and more reliable. Monitor player activity and transactions to identify fraud, bonus abuse, multi-accounting, collusion, and other suspicious behavior. Investigate suspicious accounts and transactions and make informed decisions regarding holds, reviews, and escalations. Identify vulnerabilities in promotions, payment processes, and account rules and work with relevant teams to strengthen controls. Monitor emerging fraud patterns and abuse techniques across crypto payments and online gaming environments and adapt controls accordingly. Balance effective fraud prevention with a smooth, efficient customer experience. Lead, organize, and develop the payments team, including setting priorities, managing schedules, and establishing quality standards. Coach team members on approvals, investigations, holds, and escalations to promote consistent and well-informed decisions. Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support. Own team performance against key metrics such as payout speed, accuracy, operational quality, and fraud detection. Partner with VIP, Customer Support, Product, Business, and Portfolio Management teams to resolve payment and fraud-related issues. Share payment trends, fraud insights, operational risks, and performance metrics with leadership and relevant stakeholders. Requirements: Previous experience in payments operations, fraud, risk, transaction monitoring, or a related field, ideally within iGaming, crypto, fintech, or another high-volume transactional environment. Strong understanding of withdrawal processes, payment processing, liquidity management, and transaction flows. Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and suspicious activity. Previous experience managing a team or demonstrated readiness to take on people-leadership responsibilities. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under time pressure. Comfortable working with transaction data and investigating unusual or potentially fraudulent activity. Familiarity with crypto payments and on-chain transaction monitoring. Working knowledge of AML and KYC processes and their application within payments and risk operations. Experience using fraud detection, transaction monitoring, or risk management tools. Strong understanding of fraud and payment data analysis, with the ability to identify patterns and translate findings into actionable controls. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams. Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international, and highly autonomous environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing operational and risk-related demands.
