Operations & Customer Support Associate, Pharmacy

Accountabilities:: Serve as a primary point of contact for patients with questions or concerns about pharmacy orders, providing timely, accurate, and compassionate support. Coordinate with pharmacy partners to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and fulfilled and shipped within expected timelines. Monitor pharmacy operations and order status, proactively identifying potential delays or fulfillment issues. Work with pharmacy and medical teams to resolve order discrepancies, prescription-related issues, and other operational challenges. Provide customer support through phone, email, and Athena messaging while maintaining a high standard of patient service. Identify opportunities to improve pharmacy order fulfillment processes, customer interactions, and operational workflows. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, operational issues, and resolutions. Prepare and provide performance updates and reports highlighting operational trends and potential areas for improvement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, business, operations, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in a customer service or operations-focused role; healthcare or e-commerce experience is a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a genuine focus on helping patients and addressing their needs. Interest or experience in operations, including the ability to monitor workflows and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Excellent attention to detail and a consistent approach to following up on issues through resolution. Comfortable working with customer service and operational technology, including Zendesk, Athena, and spreadsheets used for tracking orders and interactions. Familiarity with Shopify is a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy, medical, e-commerce, and external partner teams. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
