Manager, Operations Initiatives & Execution

Accountabilities:: Lead a portfolio of strategic and operational transformation initiatives from intake through implementation, maintaining alignment on objectives, scope, milestones, success metrics, dependencies, risks, decisions, regulatory requirements, and expected business outcomes. Partner with business sponsors and organizational leaders to support approved objectives and communicate initiative progress, performance, risks, decisions, and outcomes through executive updates, presentations, reports, and stakeholder communications. Drive implementation and adoption by coordinating work across departments, resolving barriers, aligning stakeholders, and developing communication, operational readiness, and implementation plans. Facilitate collaboration among business leaders, operational teams, Product Owners, Technology, Workforce Management, and other supporting functions to ensure effective execution and organizational alignment. Provide direction, coaching, development, and accountability to the Operations Initiatives & Execution Coordinator and other assigned initiative support resources. Support user readiness, business process adoption, post-launch monitoring, stabilization, and continuous improvement following implementation. Facilitate working sessions, project meetings, decision-making forums, and operational reviews to drive issue resolution, accountability, and timely decisions. Escalate risks, resource constraints, scope changes, barriers, and unresolved decisions with clear analysis and recommended actions. Ensure ownership of benefits, performance measures, and ongoing accountability is transitioned to the appropriate operational leaders following project stabilization. Maintain compliance with applicable departmental procedures, confidentiality requirements, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies and standards. Promote strong internal and external customer relationships, open communication, collaborative teamwork, continuous quality improvement, and measurable operational performance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Analytics, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. At least 5 years of progressive experience leading complex business initiatives, operational projects, cross-functional programs, process improvement efforts, or organizational transformation initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, departments, systems, and business processes. Experience supporting technology-enabled transformation initiatives, including workflow redesign, system implementations, process automation, or digital enablement projects. Strong understanding of operational workflows, business process management, and organizational effectiveness principles. Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across different organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and drive accountability and execution across functions without direct authority over participating teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Experience preparing executive communications, presentations, status reports, business recommendations, and other leadership-facing materials. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams. Experience with project portfolio or project management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is preferred. Experience with project management, business process mapping, workflow documentation, operational optimization, continuous improvement, or organizational effectiveness initiatives is preferred. Familiarity with waterfall, Agile, or hybrid project delivery methodologies is preferred.
