Junior Developer (Finance Systems)

Accountabilities:: Assist with the development, customization, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of solutions within Elite 3E and related platforms. Help create and maintain workflows, business processes, interfaces, and automation solutions. Write, test, debug, and troubleshoot code under the guidance of senior developers. Participate in issue resolution, application deployments, software updates, and ongoing maintenance activities. Support integrations between financial systems and third-party applications using REST APIs, data exchange technologies, and integration tools. Assist with data transformation and exchange processes involving XML, JSON, and related technologies. Participate in project meetings and requirements-gathering sessions, helping document technical requirements, solution designs, and implementation activities. Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to support project objectives and provide timely updates on assigned work. Follow established development standards, processes, and best practices while participating in code reviews and incorporating feedback. Use Git or similar source control tools to manage code changes and contribute to software testing and quality assurance activities. Continuously develop technical and consulting capabilities through training, mentorship, and hands-on project experience. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Equivalent education, internships, academic projects, or relevant technical training will also be considered. 0–2 years of software development experience, including internship, co-op, academic project, or entry-level experience. Exposure to Microsoft development technologies or object-oriented programming concepts is preferred. Familiarity with APIs, web services, or systems integration concepts is a plus. Knowledge of C# or another object-oriented programming language, .NET Framework or .NET Core, REST APIs, JSON, XML, Git, or Power Automate is valuable. Exposure to Elite 3E or other legal technology platforms, reporting tools, cloud technologies, or software testing methodologies is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting technical issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to working with colleagues and clients. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills, together with a genuine willingness to learn. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment. Comfortable managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced consulting setting and adapting to new technologies and requirements.
