Junior Data Analyst

Accountabilities: Design, develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Create and maintain Workday reporting solutions, including Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, dashboards, and calculated fields. Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to use Workday reporting capabilities for hiring analytics, workforce reporting, and operational insights. Develop and optimize basic to intermediate DAX queries to support data modeling and reporting. Analyze recruitment and HR data, including hiring metrics, recruitment funnel performance, turnaround times, and sourcing effectiveness. Build and maintain weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc MIS reports for leadership and business reviews. Work with large datasets using Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, and data-cleansing techniques. Extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from Workday HCM, ATS, HRMS, and other relevant sources. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity across reporting systems. Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into useful analytical solutions. Automate recurring reports and identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes. Identify trends and patterns in workforce and recruitment data and translate findings into actionable business insights. Requirements 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, MIS, reporting, business intelligence, or a related role. Hands-on expertise with Power BI , which is mandatory for the position. Basic to intermediate proficiency in DAX for data modeling, calculations, and reporting. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, data cleansing, and preferably Macros. Practical experience with Workday Reporting , including Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, and Calculated Fields. Experience extracting, validating, and analyzing data from Workday HCM . Experience working with HR, recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or workforce data is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with careful attention to data accuracy and detail. Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to understand business needs and explain analytical findings clearly. Ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and deliver accurate outputs within agreed deadlines. Benefits Full-time, remote opportunity based in India.
