HR Technology Strategy Consultant

Accountabilities:: Analyze and document the existing People technology landscape, including systems of record, workflow platforms, intelligence services, and employee experience layers. Lead system-level analysis and capability mapping across the enterprise HR technology ecosystem. Partner with People & Places leadership to develop and refine a multi-year HR technology strategy and roadmap aligned with enterprise architecture. Define capability-based frameworks to guide buy, build, or extend decisions across HR technology platforms. Identify system fragmentation, redundancies, governance gaps, and opportunities for consolidation or strategic differentiation. Develop executive-ready deliverables, including technology ecosystem maps, strategic roadmaps, capability frameworks, and decision-making tools. Translate People strategy and leadership priorities into clear technology implications, options, and strategic trade-offs. Serve as a strategic partner to Solution Design and Product teams while influencing long-term system architecture and technology decisions. Support enterprise HR transformation initiatives by connecting business priorities with scalable technology strategies and operating models. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in business systems analysis, enterprise systems strategy, HR technology architecture, or a related field. Demonstrated experience developing HR technology strategies and multi-year technology roadmaps. Strong enterprise systems thinking and experience working within complex technology ecosystems. Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday and other enterprise people systems. Proven ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous, or diverse inputs into clear strategic recommendations. Experience developing executive-level artifacts such as capability maps, technology roadmaps, ecosystem models, and decision frameworks. Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and advise senior leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, HR Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Familiarity with modern employee experience platforms and workflow automation tools is an advantage. Experience supporting enterprise HR transformation initiatives is preferred. Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks or capability-based planning models is a plus. Understanding of HR technology governance and operating model design is beneficial. Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, communication skills, and the capacity to operate effectively in complex and evolving environments.
