Healthcare Data Analytics Associate

Accountabilities:: Design, build, optimize, and maintain Power BI datasets, semantic models, reports, and dashboards across multiple client engagements. Develop scalable data models, DAX calculations, measures, parameters, and reporting structures to support high-performance analytics. Prepare, transform, and shape data using SQL, Power Query, and Azure-based data sources. Coordinate Power BI dataset refreshes, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data, connectivity, or performance issues. Perform data quality assurance to validate the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reasonableness of data before it is used for reporting and analytics. Review incoming client data and develop mapping logic and documentation to create analytics-ready SQL tables and Power BI datasets. Translate reporting and business requirements into clear, useful, and consumable Power BI dashboards in collaboration with stakeholders. Support Azure-based data environments, including Azure SQL databases, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and SFTP integrations. Facilitate secure healthcare data ingestion by supporting SFTP access, file transfers, connectivity, and ingestion troubleshooting. Work with sensitive healthcare data and protected health information while maintaining applicable security, privacy, and data governance requirements. Collaborate with internal technical teams and consultants to resolve data and reporting issues, prioritize requests, and support multiple concurrent client engagements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent applicable experience. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and strong knowledge of semantic models, parameters, pipeline deployments, incremental refresh policies, measures, workspace configuration, and credentials. Strong SQL and relational database experience supporting analytics and reporting use cases. Experience designing and supporting analytics-ready data models; knowledge of star schema and dimensional modeling is preferred. Familiarity with Azure-based analytics environments, including Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory. Experience working with multiple data formats, including flat files and JSON; familiarity with healthcare transaction formats such as 837 and 835 is preferred. Strong attention to detail, data quality, documentation, and analytical accuracy. Ability to troubleshoot technical and data-related issues independently and identify practical solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, consultants, and client stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent client engagements in a fast-paced environment. Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Benefits Estimated base salary of $100,000–$145,000 USD . Estimated total compensation, including annual incentive opportunity, of $112,000–$171,100 USD .
