Healthcare Consulting Manager - Revenue Cycle

Accountabilities: Develop and implement revenue cycle best practices that improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. Assess and optimize billing, coding, collections, denials management, and related revenue cycle processes to reduce revenue leakage. Lead complex, multi-workstream consulting projects, including project planning, workplan management, execution, and delivery. Analyze operational and financial data to identify improvement opportunities and support organizational change initiatives. Partner closely with clients and internal teams to align project outcomes with strategic and business objectives. Communicate project progress, findings, recommendations, and priorities effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels. Lead, coach, train, and develop junior team members through ongoing supervision, feedback, and mentorship. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. 6+ years of experience in project leadership and workplan management within a consulting firm environment. Professional experience focused on hospital or physician revenue cycle, denials management, or patient access services. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, multiple workstreams, and cross-functional stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into practical performance improvement initiatives. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with clients and project teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project requirements; current travel across the healthcare practice averages less than 50% annually. U.S. work authorization required. Experience working within a matrixed organization or cross-functional environment is preferred. Benefits Estimated base salary of $145,000–$185,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, certifications, market conditions, travel requirements, and other factors.
