GRMW Strategy and Transformational Excellence lead

Accountabilities:: Support senior leadership in developing and implementing initiatives that strengthen the strategic role of medical writing across therapy area heads and cross-functional stakeholders. Contribute to departmental planning and resource allocation to promote cohesion, efficiency, and effective delivery across the medical writing organization. Identify opportunities for centralized resourcing and workload planning to optimize costs, improve effectiveness, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction. Develop and propose solutions for implementing metrics, performance tracking, and optimization mechanisms across internal full-time employees, contractors, and vendors. Partner with leadership to identify process gaps, simplification opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement. Drive cross-functional initiatives designed to improve efficiency and support the department's transition toward a growth-oriented strategy. Support long-range planning and annual operating plan activities for the department. Contribute to additional strategic, operational, and transformation initiatives based on evolving business priorities. Requirements: 10+ years of experience as a Medical Writer, Regulatory Writer, or in a closely related medical writing discipline. Strong expertise in management, resource planning, budgeting, and operational initiatives. Proven experience leading or supporting change management and project management initiatives. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives within complex organizational environments. Experience with resource management, performance metrics, and operational tracking. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify gaps and translate them into practical improvement opportunities. Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, therapy area stakeholders, internal teams, contractors, and external vendors. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple strategic and operational initiatives in a changing environment. Benefits: Remote work opportunity.
