AI and Workflow Automation: Introduce practical automation solutions, such as call screening and request-for-quotation (RFQ) intake workflows, measuring time saved, accuracy, adoption, and employee feedback while retaining human review where necessary. CRM Adoption and Data Quality: Improve customer record sharing, prevent duplicate records, establish data ownership rules with sales leadership, train users, and track system adoption and data accuracy against agreed targets. AI-Enabled Operational Solutions: Assess existing AI initiatives and warehouse RFQ project progress, define the scope of an initial release supporting quotation requests, forecasting, and operational handoffs, and coordinate delivery support and quality checks. Workflow Standardization: Move selected RFQ processes from fragmented emails and spreadsheets into shared workflows with clear ownership, documented exceptions, and improved visibility across sales, pricing, and operations. Provider and Vendor Management: Evaluate technology solutions based on business value, cost, and long-term support requirements. Manage external providers through clear work plans, responsibilities, deadlines, quality standards, and service commitments. Disclose any financial relationships with recommended providers. Team Development and Resource Planning: Assess team skills and workloads, identify training and hiring needs, evaluate external support options, and present a resource plan with costs, owners, and timelines. Executive and Board Reporting: Lead weekly steering meetings with the board and key executives. Maintain a concise performance dashboard covering results, spending, milestones, risks, decisions, and action owners, addressing issues and delays proactively. Business Readiness and Future Handover: Recommend the next phase of technology investment and delivery, including costs and timelines.
