Accountabilities: Identify AI use cases, understand business needs, and translate requirements into practical and technically viable solutions. Develop, fine-tune, test, and implement AI models, including LLMs and SLMs using proprietary and open-source technologies. Design and optimize prompt-engineering strategies to improve the accuracy, consistency, reliability, and performance of AI applications. Rapidly prototype and iterate AI applications using Python and relevant frameworks. Integrate AI solutions securely with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, HRIS, financial platforms, and collaboration tools through APIs. Build, maintain, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines to provide accurate and timely data to AI models. Work with structured and unstructured data, vector databases, semantic search, and knowledge-management solutions. Deploy, manage, and scale AI workloads across cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and GCP, balancing availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency. Implement DevOps and MLOps practices, including automated deployment, testing, monitoring, version control, and model lifecycle management. Ensure AI solutions comply with applicable security, privacy, industry, and regulatory requirements, including frameworks such as GDPR and HIPAA where relevant. Identify and mitigate AI-related risks, including bias, ethical considerations, security concerns, and unintended consequences. Partner with business and functional teams to optimize processes through intelligent automation and deliver measurable business outcomes. Produce clear technical documentation, solution designs, project plans, and operational procedures. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal AI methodologies, frameworks, and best practices. Stay current with advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning and assess emerging technologies for potential enterprise applications. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. Advanced knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and machine learning principles. Advanced experience selecting, fine-tuning, and implementing Large and Small Language Models (LLMs/SLMs), including GPT-family models and open-source alternatives. Strong, demonstrated experience with prompt engineering, prompt optimization, and improving AI model reliability and accuracy. Advanced Python programming skills for rapid prototyping, integration, and implementation of AI solutions. Strong knowledge of full-stack software development, including frontend/backend integration, user experience considerations, and system interoperability. Solid experience designing data pipelines and working with data engineering concepts and structured and unstructured datasets. Advanced proficiency with cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, particularly for deploying, scaling, and managing AI workloads. Advanced knowledge of security, compliance, and risk-management practices applicable to AI solutions. Strong understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI implementation. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions for business stakeholders. Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Power Platform Fundamentals certifications are a plus.
