Digital Product Manager (Container Platform)

Accountabilities: Define and execute the product strategy for an expanding Kubernetes container platform, ensuring priorities align with business and technology objectives. Own the product roadmap and backlog, balancing new capabilities, enhancements, lifecycle management, security, operational risk, and measurable business outcomes. Partner with technical and business stakeholders to identify needs, define success criteria, validate assumptions, and translate complex requirements into actionable product initiatives. Lead discovery and test-and-learn activities to validate product direction and reduce uncertainty before investing in new capabilities. Analyze complex container and cloud technologies and use those insights to inform product decisions and platform evolution. Manage lifecycle activities across the technology stack, ensuring components remain current and meet vulnerability-management standards without disrupting hosted applications. Develop product metrics and KPIs to measure adoption, effectiveness, and outcomes, using insights to continuously refine the product strategy. Create communication strategies that improve platform awareness, adoption, transparency, and alignment among technical and non-technical stakeholders. Break complex challenges into manageable work items and prioritize them according to value, risk, and stakeholder impact. Collaborate across product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and other teams to implement decisions and initiatives effectively. Coach and mentor product teams, stakeholders, and peers while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Requirements 5+ years of relevant experience in new product development or technology development within a fast-paced environment. Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) or container orchestration technologies across multiple Kubernetes distributions, such as RKE2, EKS, AKS, or GKE. Working knowledge of Kubernetes container-platform concepts, including experience executing kubectl commands. Strong understanding of cloud services across multiple cloud providers, as well as infrastructure-as-code and immutable infrastructure concepts. Experience working in KPI-driven environments with accountability for determining and executing the best course of action to achieve defined goals. Proficiency with Agile methodologies and ceremonies, including iterations, technical story writing, estimation/point systems, and backlog refinement. Ability to communicate complex technical and innovative concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, presentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management abilities, with comfort navigating ambiguity and independently resolving challenges. A proactive, self-directed approach, with the ability to anticipate problems, identify opportunities, and drive initiatives with limited supervision. Genuine interest in technology products and the ability to identify opportunities for innovation. Knowledge of API development and testing and basic SQL queries is a plus. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery environments is desirable. Experience shipping software and an entrepreneurial, action-oriented mindset are additional advantages. Ability to collaborate with global partners during teams' typical EST working hours. Benefits Annual compensation range of $120,000–$193,725 , depending on experience and qualifications.
