Accountabilities:: Establish the overall strategy for supporting and engaging developers, researchers, and enterprises seeking greater control over AI. Build and manage developer community spaces, including Discord servers and forums, answering questions, facilitating discussions, and capturing feedback for internal teams. Develop and manage an ambassador program, including recruiting, onboarding, supporting, recognizing, and equipping ambassadors to represent the community. Organize and lead developer-focused experiences such as meetups, hackathons, office hours, and livestreams from planning through execution. Collaborate with developer groups, universities, accelerators, and open-source communities to co-host events and expand community reach. Highlight user projects and design partners through case studies, written content, guest talks, and other community storytelling initiatives. Build automations, processes, and systems that make community operations more scalable and efficient. Partner with technical and marketing teams on cross-functional initiatives, feedback loops, and community-driven projects. Maintain strong relationships with community members, identifying interesting projects, connecting people with shared interests, and staying closely connected to what developers are building. Requirements: 2–3 years of experience in a community leadership or community management role, ideally engaging technical or developer audiences. Strong operational instincts, with demonstrated experience creating scalable processes from the ground up and driving cross-functional initiatives through completion. Excellent written communication skills and experience engaging communities through platforms such as Discord and X. Proven ability to organize developer events end-to-end, ranging from small meetups to large-scale hackathons. Genuine empathy for developers and strong curiosity about the technologies, projects, and ideas they are building. Highly social and relationship-oriented, with the energy and initiative to connect with new people, build trust, and consistently follow up. Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working in an evolving environment where priorities and approaches may change. Willingness to experiment, challenge conventional approaches, and bring bold ideas to community-building initiatives. Strong team orientation, with the ability to make collaboration positive, engaging, and productive.
