Accountabilities: Develop and maintain new features and services primarily using Java, with opportunities to work with Kotlin and, where applicable, Golang. Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines using Terraform and Bitbucket. Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and infrastructure on AWS. Contribute to the definition and evolution of software architectures supporting payment-related workflows. Help improve application observability, monitoring, and operational reliability. Work with the team on data-driven system architectures and messaging solutions. Contribute to the development and evolution of microservices-based applications. Share technical knowledge, development practices, and lessons learned with other team members. Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, code reviews, automation, and day-to-day engineering activities. Requirements Strong proficiency in Java and professional experience developing production software. Experience with Docker, Git, REST services, and SQL. Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development. Knowledge of Terraform and CI/CD practices. Experience with messaging systems and data-driven architectures. Experience developing and working with microservices. Understanding of observability concepts and tools. Experience working in agile software development environments. Familiarity with AI tools applied to software development. Strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
